1. Basic Conduct

• Do not register for the forum, post anything on the forum, submit any horses for approval, register for the portal, or otherwise interact with any game function in any way until you have received confirmation of your acceptance to the game. If you disregard this rule, your application will be automatically denied, no questions asked.

• Members must be at least 13 years of age to apply for joining.
• No inappropriate content, harassment, etc. will be tolerated.
• Proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation must be used.
• Appropriate levels of activity are expected.
• Members may only have one account.

2. Horse Guidelines

• No 'famous' horses existing in Real Life may exist in the game.
• No two horses may exist with the same name.
• All horses must be realistic.
• Horses must recieve regular vet/farrier care, beginning in 2008.
• Horses age one year, every year, on January 1st.
• Game Time = Real Life time.
• All horses must be registered in order to exist.

3. Breeding

• Mares must be in foal for 11 months.
• Breeding may only take place between 02/01 and 09/01.
• Mares may only have one foal per year.
• Horses must be 3 years of age before being bred.
• Foal statistics must be based on genetic inheritance principles.
• ET and AI are permitted only in breeds allowing them in Real Life.

4. Importing

• Members may import no more than 5 horses per month.
• The Admin Team reserves the right to deny any horse entrance.
• All out-of-game showrecords must be clearly labelled as such.

5. Member Guidelines

• New members may create 5 horses.
• Upon opening a full stable, 5 additional creates are awarded.
• After a full year's activity, 5 additional creates are awarded.
• All members begin gameplay with $300 000.
• All transactions must be completed throught the MyBITS Portal.

6. Hosting/Entering Events

• When entering/hosting shows, follow real life practices.
• Horses can only be at one show per day.
• Classlists must be kept realistic.
• Results must be completed randomly. Cheating is not tolerated.
• Results must be posted within one month of the show's date.
• Prizes must be supplied by the Show Fund or the show host.
• Additional event guidelines are listed on the forum.

7. Establishments

• All establishments must remain active to remain open.
• Ensure there is demand before opening an association/business.
• Associations recieve $10000 upon opening, and $2000/month.
• Businesses no longer recieve allowances.
• All associations must remain true to life -- keep it realistic.
• 2 weeks mandatory activity before opening an establishment.
• All stables must purchase facilities prior to approval.

8. Copyright Guidelines

• All member websites, be they Stables, Associations, or Businesses, must display on each page that the site is not real and is part of a game.
 
• We require all our members to ask permission before using someone else's photographs, code, layouts, etc. We are not responsible for copyright infringements made by our members, and The Admin Team has the right to take any action they feel necessary to deal with any such infringements.
